Every hospital owner has a story that people do not see ,

The sleepless nights ,

The financial risk,

The difficult decisions ,

The pressure to keep going even when results are not matching efforts ......especially at this moment when hospitals are facing many rapid statutory changes ...

Whenever a client raises a complaint, in their eyes the behavior of an individual staff is often assumed to be the behavior of the institution in general.

The statement is always " watu wa ... Bla bla hospital" always in reference to the institution.

If Lucy the receptionist is rude , her bad attitude is all that patients will ever know ,
It won't matter that the owner of the hospital is a kind hearted courteous person, Lucy the rude receptionist becomes the default mouth piece of the hospital.

Often times we underplay the role that individual staff play in representing our institutions .
