🎯 Another EcoHarmony KPI successfully achieved!
We are pleased to share an important milestone for the EcoHarmony Project: the successful collection of testimonials from educators involved in developing the Eco Learn micro-credential courses, fulfilling another key project KPI.
Our educators reflected on their experience designing learning content across areas including sustainable and regenerative tourism, digital tourism, ethics and inclusion, environmental impacts, circularity, community engagement, low-impact mobility, strategic planning, and sustainability assessment and reporting.
Their feedback highlights several important achievements of the Eco Learn learning experience:
🌱 Translating complex sustainability concepts into accessible and practical learning
💻 Providing flexible, self-paced digital learning opportunities
📚 Connecting theory with real tourism challenges through cases, exercises and reflective activities
🤝 Strengthening European collaboration and knowledge exchange
🎓 Building educators’ capacity in digital pedagogy, assessment and micro-credential development
💡 Identifying opportunities for even greater interaction and collaborative learning in future iterations
Beyond fulfilling an important project KPI, these testimonials provide valuable qualitative evidence of the impact of EcoHarmony on the educators who contributed their expertise to the programme.
Some of the quotes of our teachers:
Teacher 1: “Helping future tourism professionals move from simply understanding sustainability to thinking about how they can contribute to real change.”
Teacher 2: “Sustainable tourism cannot exist without meaningful community participation, local ownership, and shared decision-making.”
Teacher 3: “Technology can be used to create more sustainable, inclusive, and regenerative tourism experiences.”
Teacher 4: “Moving beyond reducing negative impacts towards actively creating environmental and social value.”
A big thank you to all our educators and project partners for their commitment, expertise and collaboration in building learning opportunities that support a more sustainable, inclusive and regenerative future for tourism.
