As per Companies Act, 2013, with effect from 1st April, 2014 companies will have to mention their 21 digit Corporate Identification Number in all company letter heads, invoices and all other official documents.

The Central Board of Direct Taxes (CBDT) has extended the 'due date' of filing of income tax (I-T) returns for the Assessment Year 2012-13 to August 31. The last date of filing of returns was July 31.

Firms providing insurance cover, phone or car for personal use to its staff as part of compensation package will have to pay SERVICE TAX on the benefit extended.

This is to inform you that the special arrangements is made by the Income Tax Department, Pune to accept IT returns on 27, 30 & 31 July 2012.

Verification Certificate signed by MP / MLA / MC / Gazetted officer can be used as;

- Proof of Identity and
- Proof of Address

..while applying for PAN.
