India and the United States have agreed to reduce tariffs on Indian goods to 18% from 50%, strengthening India's export competitiveness in global markets.

Moreover, with earnings on the cusp of recovery, we continue to maintain a positive stance on equities. We retain our 12-month Nifty target of 29,500, valuing it at 21x PE on FY28E, with the Sensex target pegged at 98,500.

Given more rational valuations and a strong growth trajectory, we expect mid and small caps to outperform in CY26E.
