Gold bonds provide far more secured option and benefits to an investor in comparison with physical gold. Gold bonds protect the quantity of the precious metal for which the investment was made.
Apart from this, there is storage cost and risk associated with physical gold. Physical gold also has factors that jewellery making cost and purity issue.

Types Of Equity Mutual Funds :-
1️⃣. Large Cap - Large Cap Mutual Funds are equity funds that invest in shares of companies with a large market capitalization. These companies are highly reputed and an excellent track record and give good returns over a long period.
2️⃣. Mid cap - Mid cap funds are a type of equity mutual funds that invests in the stock of mid-sized companies.Midcap companies have the potential of generating faster earnings growth than large cap companies. 3️⃣.Small cap-Small-cap equity funds are those that invest in equity shares of companies whose market capitalisation is less than Rs 500 crore.
4️⃣. Index Funds - Index fund is no brainer fund it follows market index.
5️⃣. ELSS ( Equity Linked Saving Scheme )-
Good for Tax planning under sec 80C with three years of lockin period.
6️⃣ . Sector Mutual Funds- Invest money in different sectors (information technology,metal etc..)

Basically three types of mutual funds:
1.Equity Funds -They invest the money pooled in from various investors from diverse backgrounds into shares/stocks of different companies. The gains and losses associated with these funds depend solely on how the invested shares perform in the stock market. Also, equity funds have the potential to generate significant returns over a period.
2. Debt Funds -invest primarily in fixed-income securities such as bonds, securities.Since the investments come with a fixed interest rate and maturity date, it can be a great option for passive investors looking for regular income with minimal risks.
3. Hybrid Funds- As the name suggests, hybrid funds (Balanced Funds) is an optimum mix of bonds and stocks.
