Mutual Fund SIPs accounts stood at 2.11 CRORE! And the total amount collected through SIP during March 2018 was ₹7,119 crore.

AMFI data shows that on an average, the MF industry had added about 9.70 lacs SIP accounts each month during the FY 2017-18 (as against average of 6.27 lacs SIP accounts each month during the FY 2016-17), with an average SIP size of about 3,375 per SIP account.
