Some people whom you really look upon.

We happily accepted their culture, their language, their dressing sense, their music, and their food too. What we gave away was, yoga, meditation, Aurveda, and the movement of the stars….…. and a lot more. But what we forgot to take was the forward planning, infrastructure, cleanliness, mind to protect the girl child.

We leant to socialise and make friends around the world, but we also quickly learned to block and press the unfriend button, who are so close to us.

We learnt to disrespect, we learnt to reject, but we still don’t standup to injustice.

We learnt to fulfil our dreams, and became world citizens, but we failed to stop corruption.

We learnt to build hospitals and schools, but could only provide rote learning, and made cattle grazers or build herd mentality individuals, without focusing on that each child was unique and had a different skill set.

We still mock at children who attempt many times and fail, yet in other parts of the world, they are looked upon achievers, and successful people who never stop attempting.

When KFC owner was 65 he didn’t stop, and build an empire, and here at 65 we give up on life, thinking that time is over, and this is a time to retire. The golden years of life are lived as boring years of life.

The point here is not comparing east to the west, but how each region has some amazing qualities, and how to take the best from each world.
