This is a Important Alert in case of Hospital admission to register and get claim intimation no. with Star Health within 24 hours of admission to Hospitals /Day care/Nursing home, etc. as per Star Health Rules. Claim is held up without registration of claim and without submission of valid claim documents and authorisation.
Initially, To ease out you may :
• Download Star Health app & register with your mobile number, policy details available
• Search Star Health Network hospitals using area pincode, to availing cashless facility.
• OR go to Starhealth.in and search the nearby Star Network hospitals.
• Remember to carry the Policy copy to Help desk to register Claim and collect intimation number from Star Health within 24 hours.
• For Emergency admission in any other location, Non-network hospitals (reimbursement cases), you should call Star Health Help Line 044-69006900 / 10 to register your claim intimation within 24 hours. OR you may inform me with additional details like : • Reasons for admission
• Medical management/ Surgical treatment
• Dr. Name
• Name of the hospital, city, pincode
• Date of admission
• Time of admission
Further, Claim Forms - Part A Patient fills and signs, Part B Hospital fills and sign, stamps alongwith medical bills duly signed stamped. Alongwith this other reports like breakup of bills, money receipt, Doctor discharge certificate, ICP, etc. need to be submitted with respective branch well within 30 days, to get the claim honoured.
