Not just a tournament. A purpose.
On 11 April 2026, Alpha Learning Hub Kapurthala hosted the Alpha Chess Challenge — not only to compete, but to build chess awareness and give players a space where they could truly be challenged.
18 players.
Two cities — Kapurthala & Phagwara.
Ages 7 to 20.
Different levels. One board.
Four rounds. Two categories — U14 and Open.
And in every round — focus, patience, and intent.
🏆 U14 Winners
1st – Panshul Gupta
2nd – Kyra Sharma
3rd – Kashvi Sharma
🏆 Open Category Winners
1st – Arnav Sharma
2nd – Aneesh Ladhar
3rd – Vishant Pal
4th – Parth Dhir
From beginners to inter-school and state-level players — everyone stepped into a space that demanded more.
And they delivered.
But the real win?
Players didn’t just compete — they connected.
Seniors shared insights.
Juniors listened, learned, and played fearless.
Every game became a lesson.
And when it ended — the response said everything.
💬 “This was the best tournament I have ever played… even better than some paid tournaments. The staff was so friendly. I’m glad I was part of this amazing tournament.”
— Aneesh Ladhar
That’s what matters.
Because chess isn’t just about winning.
It’s about thinking better. Playing better. Becoming better.
And on this day — every player did.
♟️ Built for awareness.
♟️ Designed to challenge.
♟️ Remembered for the experience.
