The discussion brought together senior leaders to exchange perspectives on scaling AI responsibly, with a focus on governance, cybersecurity, regulatory expectations, and enterprise adoption challenges.

Baker Tilly ASA India was part of the IIA India Hyderabad Chapter & Vizag Audit Club – Annual Conference 2026, held in Hyderabad under the theme “Beyond Assurance: Winds of Change, Waves of Impact.”

The conference brought together leaders from the internal audit and risk ecosystem to discuss how the function is evolving in response to changing business and risk environments.

Gaurav Bhatia, ASA, moderated the panel on “Internal Audit in the Age of Impact: From Scorekeepers to Game Changers,” where discussions focused on the shift from compliance to value creation, stronger stakeholder alignment, and the role of agility and technology in audit practices.
