1000-2500 - 12 %
2500-5000 - 18 %
Above 5000 - 28 %
Restaurants with an annual turnover of less than Rs 50 lakh will fall under the 5 percent tax slab, while non-ACs food joints will be taxed at 12 percent. Air-conditioned restaurants with liquor licences will be taxed at 18 percent.

RBI cancels licence of three NBFCs
Maharashtra : The RBI on Wednesday said it has cancelled the certificate of registration of three non-banking financial companies (NBFCs).
Further, 10 NBFCs have surrendered the certificate of registration granted to them.
The central bank, in a statement, said it has cancelled the certificate of registration of
Shubh Leasing (Chandigarh),
Global Securities (Ahmedabad), and
Amitosa Leasing & Finance (Ulhasnagar, Thane).
