In December 2025, DigitaX officially became an Enterprise Ireland backed company.
Extremely grateful to Enterprise Ireland for the support and guidance they give founders, it's not just the funding. It's the validation, the structure, and the network that comes with it.

What's changed? A lot.
We could hire. We could accelerate. And in doing so, we got something we didn't fully expect: a wave of new users and clients that highlighted exactly how unprepared we were for the kind of growth we suddenly had to handle.

A good problem. Still a problem.

Today we introduce Corina Popov, Director of Finance & Funding and founding member of the team.

Corina oversees ConnectMi’s financial strategy, from budgeting to securing funding through grants and government programmes. Beyond the numbers, she actively supports members of the diaspora by offering tax guidance, helping them understand their legal obligations, and identifying state supports and incentives available to them.

With over 15 years of professional experience, Corina is a Financial Accountant and Certified Tax Consultant (Irish Tax Institute), bringing clarity and structure to complex financial matters. She is also an entrepreneur and the founder of DigitaX, Ireland’s first application dedicated to tax compliance for self-employed individuals—a startup that has secured grants and investment, including funding from Enterprise Ireland.

Through her strategic mindset, hands-on experience, and deep understanding of both finance and entrepreneurship, Corina brings stability, credibility, and long-term vision to the team—playing a key role in advancing ConnectMi’s mission to empower the diaspora with knowledge, confidence, and sustainable opportunities.
