IFRS 18 is coming. At our 14 October seminar, IASB Board Member Nick Anderson explained the new mandatory P&L subtotals and revised treatment of intangible assets — and what they mean for IROs' equity stories. Sam Chan (HKICPA) shared a desktop review of 60 Hang Seng Index constituents, and Tony Wong (Alaya Consulting) covered practical IFRS S1 and S2 implementation for Hong Kong issuers.
