At its September meeting, the IASB completed its redeliberations on the revision of IAS 28 and made further progress on its statement of cash flows and amortised cost measurement projects.

On the sustainability front, the publication in the Official Journal of the European Union of the revised ESRS and the Voluntary Standard (VS) has stabilised the new European reporting framework. Companies now have greater clarity on the applicable rules, the reporting options available for the 2026 financial year and the implementation support tools offered by EFRAG for the VS.

From 16-18 September 2026, HR professionals from across APAC and our Global teams came together in Bangkok for the APAC HR Workshop 2026 to exchange ideas, share best practices and explore the future of HR. Topics ranged from talent acquisition and employer branding to learning, wellbeing, DEI, international mobility and AI in HR.​
One of the most valuable outcomes of the workshop was the opportunity to learn from one another. By sharing experiences across different markets, we gained fresh perspectives, strengthened regional collaboration and built even stronger connections across our APAC HR community.​

We are proud to host our first Restructuring & Insolvency Annual Drinks on Tuesday, 22 September 2026 at Club Lusitano.

Hosted by Anson Li CPA, SD (Insolvency), Partner and Head of Restructuring & Insolvency, together with Issac Tang CPA, SQ (Insolvency) and Kalec Tang CPA, SQ (Insolvency), Directors in Restructuring & Insolvency, the event provided an opportunity to reconnect with longstanding friends and colleagues, strengthen existing relationships, and build new connections across the industry.
