A big thank you to everyone who joined us at our careers event yesterday.

It was great to welcome students, professionals and parents into our Guernsey office to learn more about life in accountancy and the opportunities available at BDO.

The morning was all about exploring possibilities and gaining a real insight into what a career at BDO can offer through hands-on exposure to an audit, day-to-day role activities, opportunities to ask questions and the chance to make new connections.

At BDO, we believe in learning by doing, being yourself and growing alongside people who support and challenge you to be your best. It was a pleasure to share that experience with our engaged and curious attendees.

Thank you to everyone who took the time to join us, and to our colleagues - Toby Brook, Dylan Powell, Sophie Gallienne, Alex Simpson and Stephanie Cairns who helped make the event such a success. We loved meeting you and hope you left feeling inspired about the opportunities ahead.

Congratulations to Dylan and Jenson, who have both passed their final ACCA exams.

Jenson joined BDO as a school leaver, while Dylan swapped the aviation industry for a career in accountancy. Different paths, same outcome: years of hard work and a significant milestone reached.

At BDO, we know that careers aren't one-size-fits-all. Whether you're starting out or starting again, we're proud to support people to learn, grow and build a career that's right for them.

ACCA qualification officially follows in August, but for now, we think they've earned a well-deserved celebration (and a few study-free evenings).

We’re looking for a Manager to join our Business Services & Outsourcing team in Guernsey.

In this role, you’ll take ownership of your own client portfolio, leading engagements from onboarding through to final reporting and building trusted, long‑term relationships. You’ll shape the client experience and play a key role in delivering high‑quality work that makes a real difference.

You’ll also support the Senior Manager by coaching and developing others, contributing to resourcing decisions, and ensuring our work meets BDO’s high standards of quality and risk management. Beyond your core portfolio, you’ll help drive growth by spotting opportunities, supporting business development activity, and representing BDO in a positive, proactive way.

This is a role for someone who wants to lead, grow and make an impact. You’ll be trusted to share your ideas, encouraged to develop your technical and leadership skills and supported to shape what matters, for our clients, our people and our firm.
