A little bit about me and our business.

Meet Paul Urmston, Director and Independent Financial Adviser at Fresh Approach Financial Planning, now in his 15th year with 2plan.

Paul began his career in 2004 as a Bank Branch Manager with the Co-operative Bank, later moving into financial advice and achieving his Diploma qualification. After going independent in 2011, he worked with 2plan before launching his own firm in 2019, focusing on helping clients achieve their short- and medium-term goals.

What Paul values most about working with 2plan: “The 2plan brand has a real family feel. While you’re looking after your clients, they’re looking out for you, it’s a dynamic that builds trust.”

A typical day sees Paul meeting clients at different life stages, supported by his paraplanner, admin team and trainee mortgage adviser to deliver the best outcomes. Outside of work, he’s a passionate supporter of Bolton Wanderers and even though he’s located in Worcester, him and his son make that commitment!
