This quote by Michelle Obama has always resonated with me, particularly when I think back to when I first started out in financial services nearly 25 years ago.

When I decided I wanted to embark on the journey of becoming a financial adviser, I remember being told that this career wasn’t for women and that I would probably flop.

Fast forward 20 years, and with the right mindset and determination, I’m proud to say I am now a Chartered Professional. This year also marks five years of running my own practice. I’m also delighted to share that just this week I received confirmation that my application to be recognised as a ‘Chartered Fellow’ has been accepted 🥳

A moment that feels both humbling and rewarding.

As my mother always told me:
“Don’t let anyone tell you that you can’t do something.”
