Good morning all, just a quick post to let you know that our Weston-super-Mare is still open for business as usual despite the front door being bordered up due to car driving into our front door and shop front. We are waiting for a temporary front door to be fitted at present, whilst we wait another 4-6 weeks for the new door to be manufactured and fitted. If you would like to drop in please call us on 01934 440157 and we will let you in the back entrance for a meeting or to drop in your records.

TLA - Mini Budget Update - Part 2

• Remove the cap on bankers' bonuses and replace it with regulatory reforms
• Legislation to require unions to put pay offers to a member vote to ensure strikes can only be called once negotiations have broken down
• Reduced benefits if people do not fulfil their job searching commitments
• Reform the pension charge cap, so pension funds can invest more easily in UK assets
• A new bill to unpick the complex patchwork of planning restrictions and EU-derived laws that he says "constrain our growth"
• Cut taxes for businesses in designated tax sites for 10 years
• VAT-free shopping for overseas visitors

TLA - Mini Budget Update - Part 1

• Income Tax basic rate reduced to 19% from April 2023
• Higher Rate tax of 45% removed for personal income over £150k
• Stamp Duty limit raised to £250,000 or £425,000 for first-time buyers
• The planned increase for corporation tax has been cancelled, so it will remain at 19%
• The planned duty rates increase on b**r, w**e and spirits is cancelled
