If you are an employee or a director of your own limited company and use your personal car for business...this change matters.
For the first time in 15 years, the Government has increased the Approved Mileage Allowance Payments (AMAPs) by 10p per mile.
From 6 April 2026:
• 55p per mile (first 10,000 miles)
• 25p thereafter
And the best part? It’s backdated! If you’ve been claiming at 45p, now is a good time to review your arrangements.
