Our new office at 30 West High Street, Inverurie has opened for business! After more than 50 years in Turriff, we have relocated south, adding to our existing hub in Maud.

Stewart Johnston will be based in Inverurie, while the rest of the team will continue to provide our full range of services from Buchan with James Begg.

Allathan Associates is seeking an experienced book-keeper to join the team!

Allathan Associates is a firm of agricultural consultants and land managers, providing professional services to farms and estates throughout North East Scotland. We are seeking an experienced book-keeper to support our busy team based at our Maud and Turriff offices. The role will involve assisting clients and running our own book-keeping and invoicing system.

Key responsibilities include:

- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records
- Processing invoices, payments and expenses
- Preparing account reconciliations and financial reports
- Assisting with year-end procedures
- Providing general financial and administrative support to the team

The successful candidate must:

- Have a strong knowledge of book-keeping and payroll
- Be confident using accounting packages and MS Office software.
- Be numerate, maintain high standards of accuracy, and have the ability to meet deadlines at key periods.

A relevant qualification and a working knowledge of farming, estates and rural businesses would be an advantage, though not essential.

The position is full time, although consideration will be given to flexible working hours for the right candidate.
