⚠️ Making Tax Digital for Income Tax – First Deadline Approaching ⚠️

The first Making Tax Digital (MTD) quarterly update is due by 7th August 2026.

If your total income from self-employment and/or property was more than £50,000 on your 2024/25 Self Assessment tax return, you may now be required to comply with the new MTD rules from 6 April 2026.

Under MTD, you'll need to:

- Keep digital records of your income and expenses.
- Submit quarterly updates to HMRC using compatible software.
- Complete an end of year declaration to finalise your tax position.
