Hannah deserves a proper shoutout this month and this is why 🙌

Hannah has now been part of the team for 6 years, and in that time, she has become such an important part of the way we look after our clients.

Hannah is one of our Client Managers, alongside Owen, which means she supports clients directly, answers questions, keeps things moving and helps make sure people feel properly looked after.

If you have worked with Hannah, spoken to her on the phone, emailed her with a question, or needed something sorting, you will already know how good she is at what she does 👍

She is calm, knowledgeable, supportive, and genuinely cares about the people she works with.

We get so many lovely calls and emails from clients saying how much they appreciate Hannah, and we completely understand why.

She has set such a brilliant standard in the way she supports people, and that has made a real difference to ChadStone as a whole.

A fun fact about Hannah is that outside of work, she rides a motorbike and has been on tours to different places around the world with it 🏍️

10 years of Sarah at ChadStone 🥳

Which feels like a very good reason to shout about her properly.

Sarah is part of our brilliant front desk team alongside Charl, and between them, they keep so much of ChadStone running smoothly day to day.

If you have ever called the office, emailed in, needed pointing in the right direction, or had one of those “I’m not sure who I need to speak to” moments, there is a good chance Sarah has helped you👌

And anyone who has spoken to her will know exactly why we appreciate her so much.

She is calm, organised, incredibly good at what she does, and such an important part of the ChadStone setup.

A fun fact about Sarah is that before joining ChadStone, she was a teacher, deputy head teacher and SEN co-ordinator. She made the move to ChadStone to have a better work-life balance and be around more for her two young boys, and we’re very glad she did 🙌

Dave completed a walking marathon around London, so he deserves a shoutout 🥳

Dave completed the London Summer Walk with Ultra Challenge , which involved walking a marathon distance around London, in summer, on purpose.

A decision we are all supporting from a safe distance.

He has spoken before about how much walking consistently has changed his life, and one of the ways he keeps himself doing it is by booking big challenges throughout the year 🙌

Although the rest of the ChadStone team remain suspiciously quiet every time he asks who would like to join him on the next one 😅

But joking aside, we’re really proud of him.

Another challenge completed, another very long walk done, and another set of pictures where he somehow looks far happier than anyone walking that distance has any right to look.

Well done, Led 👏

What it feels like coming back to work after the summer holidays 😅

Here are 5 tips for getting your business back on track👇

✅ Start with deadlines, not your inbox

Your inbox will happily steal the whole day if you let it. Before you dive in, check what actually needs doing first. VAT, payroll, tax, Companies House, client deadlines, internal deadlines, whatever applies to your business.

✅ Look at your cash flow

Summer can be a strange few weeks for a lot of businesses, so it’s worth checking what has come in, what is still due, what needs chasing and what is going out over the next month.

✅ Review the “after the holidays” list

We all have one. The things we said we’d sort once summer was out the way. Some will still matter, some can wait, and some probably only felt important because it was July, and September felt ages away.

✅ Get clear with your team

If people have been off at different times, it’s worth making sure everyone knows what’s happening, what needs picking up, and what the priorities are now everyone is getting back into routine.

✅ Pick 3 proper priorities

Not 25 😂

Just the things that will actually make a difference before the final quarter properly kicks in.

The ChadStone team are all fully back from summer holidays and here is what they have been up to ☀️

We’ve had various team members off at different times this summer. They’ve been making the most of spending time with family, getting away where possible, and enjoying all this sun we’ve been having.

Big news for Mol and Whitby this month 🙌

Not only are they celebrating their 7-year work anniversary with us, they are also now formally training to become managers at ChadStone.

Once they are signed off, they will be joining Hannah and Owen as Client Managers, which is a really exciting next step for both of them 🥳

Mol and Whitby both joined us straight from sixth form, so they have grown with ChadStone from the very start of their careers.

Over the last 7 years, they have worked full-time, learned the job from the ground up, supported real clients, handled real deadlines and real responsibility, all while taking around 25 exams each 🤯

What makes this even more special is that they have not just grown in knowledge and experience, but in confidence, responsibility and the way they support our clients and team.

They care about their work, they care about our clients, and they understand the standard we want people to experience when they work with ChadStone.

So, happy 7-year work anniversary Mol and Whitby, and a massive congratulations on this next step 👏

We are very lucky to have you both and can’t wait to see you continue growing into these roles.

Need us over the summer holidays? Here’s who’s away and who can help ☀️👇

Over the next few weeks, some of the ChadStone team will be taking well-earned time off with their families, including Sarah and Charl who don’t work during the school holidays.

A few of our team members with children also have holidays booked throughout the summer, so you may see the odd out-of-office reply from your usual contact.

But please don’t worry, there will always be someone in the office who can help (and will update your portal so your account manager knows everything on their return) 👍

So if your usual account manager is away, or you would normally contact Sarah or Charl, another member of the team will be available to point you in the right direction and make sure nothing gets missed.

Basically, ChadStone is not disappearing to the beach all at once 😅
