Anyone who is hoping that they will be able to get a dispensation from HMRC from Making Tax Digital due to age please note. I have received a letter from HMRC refusing to grant a dispensation to my 77 year old client who has rental income. Somehow they expect her to keep digital records!! That begs the question how old do you have to be to be granted a dispensation on the grounds of age? I am of course appealing and asking that very question I will let you know the answer.

Such a lovely email to receive from one of our clients "I also wanted to mention that Olivia, Sophie and Zara have all been excellent in assisting with training and preparation of my tax return, they are certainly a credit to your Company. ...... I feel well prepared for HMRC's Making Tax Digital thanks to you and your team."

Monday is 5th January only 20 working days to complete and submit the remaining tax returns.

Day 24 of my advent calendar and I opened a key finder. I will no longer be running up and down the office shouting has anyone seen my keys?

Day 24 of the office advent calendar and Linda opened an assortment of gins, a mug with matching spoon and a little jar of marmalade.

Day 23 and I opened the cutest gingerbread house.

Day 23 and Sophie opened a hand made clay candle holder, some dandelion and bourbon alcohol and some nice marmalade.

Day 22 and I opened some lovely cath kidson hand cream and lip balm from Next.

Day 22 and Zara opened a box containing a selection of teas, a Christmas pudding liquor and some Christmas sweets.
