Last week, our very own ๐ฃ๐ฎ๐๐ฟ๐ถ๐ฐ๐ธ ๐๐ถ๐น๐น had the pleasure of presenting at the October Investor Masterclass, hosted by ๐๐ฎ๐๐ฎ๐น๐๐๐ฒ ๐๐ป๐ด๐ฒ๐น ๐ก๐ฒ๐๐๐ผ๐ฟ๐ธ at Malvern Hills Science Park.
Pat shared his expertise on the๐ฆ๐ฒ๐ฒ๐ฑ ๐๐ป๐๐ฒ๐ฟ๐ฝ๐ฟ๐ถ๐๐ฒ ๐๐ป๐๐ฒ๐๐๐บ๐ฒ๐ป๐ ๐ฆ๐ฐ๐ต๐ฒ๐บ๐ฒ (๐ฆ๐๐๐ฆ) ๐ฎ๐ป๐ฑ ๐๐ป๐๐ฒ๐ฟ๐ฝ๐ฟ๐ถ๐๐ฒ ๐๐ป๐๐ฒ๐๐๐บ๐ฒ๐ป๐ ๐ฆ๐ฐ๐ต๐ฒ๐บ๐ฒ (๐๐๐ฆ), guiding attendees through the processes, paperwork and compliance requirements involved.
From understanding eligibility and HMRC advance assurance to navigating the timelines and claiming tax relief, Pat helped break down some of the important considerations for businesses and investors.
It was a fantastic opportunity to share knowledge alongside Andrew Gillett of BRI Wealth Management, who explored the tax advantages of SEIS and EIS, and Inger Anson of HCR Law, who covered the key legal paperwork involved in closing an investment deal.
