⏰ Reminder: Your Self-Assessment Payment on Account is Due by 31 July.

If you are required to make Self-Assessment Payments on Account, your second payment is due by 31 July.

Payments on account are advance payments towards your next tax bill and are typically based on the previous year's liability. If you need to make one, your HMRC online account will tell you how much is due.

💡 If you expect your income for the current tax year to be lower than last year, you may be able to apply to reduce your payment on account. Just be aware that reducing it too far could result in interest being charged if you end up underpaying.
