Now embracing the 21st century with a range of video lighting products for zoom meetings, chatting with family and vlogging. I've always had a weird obsession for writing in multiple colours - and grew up using the ubiquitous BIC 4 colour pens. With the advent of the internet, I found you could buy better "multi pens" but they were mostly only available in Japan - and I found to my cost several ti
mes that importing is not cheap - especially the hidden taxes and additional postage fees. I also found fountain pens and the myriad of colourful inks and quality Japanese notebooks. The way these pens and paper felt made me want to write more in meetings and to be more creative with my notes and expanding / improving my thought processes. One of these thought processes was why not source these products that I use and make them available for other stationery lovers and those who appreciate high quality design led items. We run the business as a family, with everyone involved in some way - well there has to be some advantages to having kids, and they have to earn their Xbox points and match attax cards. We wanted to promote the written word and the powerful emotions it can evoke. Then change happened, Covid-19 hit the world and we as family entered a digital world of constant online meetings, virtual schooling and video calls to keep in touch with family and friends. We realised the power of the spoken alongside the written word and that we are a company that wants to help people to communicate. Hence we now stock a range of video lights for homeworkers, zoom callers and video chatters. A departure, we know - but the times they are a changing. (As someone once said). So put pen to paper, pick up the iPad or turn on a PC - but communicate somehow, it is the life blood of our existence and simply more important than ever for our limited sanity. Tell someone you love them, tell someone you miss them, and reassure them that you will see them soon. (Don't tell someone you hate them (they don't like it).
