This weekend, our clients Chris and Jeremy are taking on the Three Peaks Challenge alongside a group of friends to raise money for the Stroke Foundation.

The challenge is to climb the highest peaks in Scotland, England and Wales within 24 hours – no small feat! ⛰️🥾

They’re taking on this challenge for a fantastic cause, and any donation, no matter how small, would be greatly appreciated. Chad, their driver and chief organiser, has set up a JustGiving page, which we’ll link below.

Wishing Chris, Jeremy and the team the very best of luck this weekend – we’re all rooting for you! 💙🚶‍♂️⛰️

🚨Landlords: Act NOW on the Renters' Rights Act!

With just weeks left until 31 May 2026, you MUST provide your tenants with the official Renters’ Rights Act Information Sheet explaining the huge changes - like the ban on no-fault evictions - kicking in from 1 May. 🏠 🏠

Who needs it? Tenants on assured or assured shorthold tenancies created before 1 May 2026, with a written agreement (or partly written).

How? Send a hard copy or PDF attachment via email/text—NOT just a link! If you use a letting agent, they're responsible too.

Fail to do it? Face fines up to £7,000! 💴

Download it FREE from GOV.UK here: https://www.gov.uk/government/news/landlords-now-to-fulfil-new-legal-duty-for-renters-rights-act (https://www.gov.uk/government/news/landlords-now-to-fulfil-new-legal-duty-for-renters-rights-act) 2 (https://www.gov.uk/government/news/landlords-now-to-fulfil-new-legal-duty-for-renters-rights-act)

Don't risk it—protect your tenants and your wallet! Share if you're a landlord. 👇

Tenants can now look out for new important information explaining their new rights coming on 1 May 2026 - including a ban on Section 21 'no-fault' evictions.

AI is changing the way businesses work — from saving time on admin tasks to improving efficiency and decision-making. But while technology can be a powerful tool, relying on AI alone can be risky. It can get things wrong, miss important details, and lacks the personal understanding needed for many business decisions.

At Amherst Accountancy, we embrace technology that helps businesses work smarter, while providing the expert human advice and support our clients can trust.

The future may be AI-powered, but experience, judgement, and relationships still matter.
