Today I was in hospital for a minor procedure, resolving something I’d been waiting almost a year to have dealt with. I expected to feel relieved that it was finally done. What I hadn’t expected was the sense of space it would create in my mind despite the wooziness still hanging on. I realised that something I’d been carrying for a year had become so familiar, I’d stopped noticing how heavy it was. Only now can I see how much space it had been taking up in my mind, in my energy and at times, in the way I was showing up. Sometimes we become so accustomed to carrying something that we have no say in, its weight impacts everyday life. Looking forward bringing back a bounce in my step with this weight gone ✨ #gratitude #positivity #selfbelief #mindset

I’ve entered the Woman Who Solopreneur Awards. ✨
I’ll admit there was plenty of self-doubt whilst completing the application. It’s so easy to focus on everything you haven’t done yet, rather than stopping to acknowledge how far you’ve come.

The process itself made me reflect on why I started KD Accounting Solutions in the first place, and for that alone, I’m grateful.
