Goringe Accountants are looking for an eager to learn Business Administrator to come and join the team. You will be fast paced and a meticulous individual that loves all things administration and helping a team.
Duties include but are not exclusive to:
Responsibilities
Answering the phones and taking messages
General upkeep of the office
Ordering of stationary supplies
Dealing with post and franking machine
Email management
Regular update of spreadsheets
Scanning and filing documents
Letter typing when required
Meeting room bookings and diary maintenance
Database management
Proposal generation through Practice Ignition system
Responsible for ensuring proposals are signed within a specified timeframe
Generating reports
Assisting with the organisation of team and client events
Welcoming and signing in/out clients
Working with a variety of clients and supporting the Client Account Managers as and where needed
All other adhoc administration tasks
Required skills, experience and attributes required:
Demonstrable experience of strong administration skills
Strong communication skills
Knowledge of Teams/Zoom is preferable
Strong IT skills, particularly MS Word and Excel
Excellent organisational skills, attention to detail, ability to prioritise tasks and adhere to deadlines
Excellent interpersonal skills, enthusiastic, professional and a team player
Ability to adapt to new systems quickly
Positive and proactive attitude
Preferred Experience but not essential:
Accountancy or Solicitor practice experience
Experience of social media to keep practice updated with latest blogs, news etc.
Experience of using Practice Ignition and CCH

Goringe Auditors seeks an ICAEW or equivalent auditor for modern growing audit practice based in the Reading area. The practice is growing fast, therefore the right individual will enjoy working in a fast-paced team and likes to drive business improvements.
The candidate will look after a portfolio of clients. The role will be predominantly audit based, with up to 25% of time working in the accounts team during audit off season.
ICAEW or equivalent auditor or expected to qualify in next 12 months
Accountancy practice experience
Enjoys working with a wide variety of clients
Will have field audit management experience
Essential to have excellent communication skills and enjoy building long-term relationships with clients
Maintains highest technical standards
The right candidate should be self-motivated, enthusiastic, technically excellent and be able to prioritise workload and have a professional manner with good attention to detail. Full, clean driving license and use of own vehicle appropriately insured is required
