Raymond James, Ribble Valley Team Triumphs at Longridge Golf Club Pro-Am! 🎉

In the first Longridge Golf Club Pro-Am tournament in over 30 years, a team sponsored by Raymond James, Ribble Valley walked away victorious. The four-man team comprised veteran tour professional David Shacklady, Head of Branch Investment Paul Gavaghan and two aspiring junior golfers from Longridge, Leo Coupe and Frankie Lee.
With 11 major championship appearances, 400 tour wins and 14 course records under his belt, Shacklady proved an inspiring playing partner for the Longridge trio. Amassing 92 points, the team romped to victory. On top of this, Frankie won a ‘nearest the pin’ prize with fellow Longridge Junior Daniel Mills also winning a “nearest the pin”.
Paul Gavaghan commented: “What an honour it was to play with a legend of the game, David Shacklady, and see a couple of golf’s next generation performing so well and picking up prizes. Our thanks go to the organisers. Hopefully this will become a long-term event to attract professionals to come and play at Longridge and inspire the next generation of players.”
