Look what Helen found during an office clear out! 👀

Whilst sorting through some old files, Helen came across this NHS poster from 2007, helping businesses prepare for the smoking ban.

It got us thinking about how much has changed since then.

In 2007:
☕ A cup of coffee cost around £2
⛽ Petrol was around £1 per litre
🏡 The average UK house price was around £180,000

Today, the cost of living is significantly higher and many people are feeling the impact of inflation on their savings and spending power.

Just as businesses were encouraged to prepare for change back then, it's important to review your finances regularly to make sure your savings and investments are still working hard for you.

After all, money sitting still can lose value over time.

We recently closed the office for our traditional annual team volunteering day.

We were delighted to be invited by the YMCA Plymouth to help redecorate their children's soft play area. It was a fantastic opportunity for us to give something back to the local community and support an organisation that makes a real difference to so many families.

The soft play facility provides an affordable, welcoming space for children and is also used by a number of other charitable organisations, helping to deliver valuable support across Plymouth.

We are proud to play a small part in helping maintain such a worthwhile community resource and would like to thank everyone at YMCA Plymouth for making us feel so welcome.

It was a privilege to support the Ladies Lunch Plymouth charity event in aid of St Luke's Hospice Plymouth at the Leonardo Hotel last week. 💚

The work carried out by St Luke’s is truly remarkable. Around £13.6 million is needed each year to fund their services, supporting approximately 300 patients at any one time and providing compassionate care to more than 3,200 terminally ill patients and their families.

Their comprehensive, integrated services reach people across the local community, hospitals and their specialist inpatient unit at Turnchapel, ensuring individuals receive the care, dignity and support they deserve when they need it most.

A special well done to Lisa Thomas for organising such a fantastic event and bringing together so many people in support of this wonderful cause. 👏
