I personally live by my budget plan, so I am fully aware of what I have coming in, what I pay out and when and what I can forecast to save a month. Seeing your finances on a screen and/or on paper, I feel really helps you focus on saving, as you can see the potential savings a month. The main problem is that because people concentrate on a typical month, they massively underestimate their real spe
nd, as this misses huge costs such as Christmas, summer holidays, new sofas, break down costs, repairs and even a cost of a new car. To work out if you need a budget plan, answer these following questions you most likely need answering are:
1. Do I spend more than I earn? An instinctive assessment is easy - if you're eating up your savings or building up debts, you're likely to be overspending. Yet before you can solve this it's important to get an accurate idea of the size and scale of the problem. Major overspending can lead to a debt spiral and severe problems, that's why the Budget Planners are all designed to definitively answer this problem and give you a real assessment of your finances.
2. What can I afford to spend? Once you know where you're spending, you can start to alter and prioritise what you do with your money to enable you to stick within your means. While the budget planners include tools to enable you to work out how to prioritise within your means, the real difficulty is sticking to it.
3. Can I lower my monthly payments? Going through your outgoings, working out how much you owe people and if you can afford to clear off any outstanding small debts, helping your monthly cash flow to grow.
4. Can I save money? Is there anywhere that you can save money, less trips to tesco and wasting money on things you don’t need. I can budget your finances to see what exactly you pay out per month, to advise if you can invest money into savings. I have spoken to a few people over the last 6 months, and I asked them – ‘how much money do you have left over at the end of the month’ and the answers were quite surprising – they had no idea! – This is what I would like to change. Costs for Plans:
All prices include a copy of the budget plan on your PC/Laptop, for you to keep and get a good idea on how to edit to suit your financial situation month per month after our meet. The price will also include me going through your statements, and working out the specific budget plan and what would suit you best, for your understanding. Budget plans, when carried out correctly can take a few days to complete to get the most accurate costings. I will only advise you on where you can possible save money and help you to find out what you still owe and if we can lower these payments and get them paid off, to lower your monthly outgoings.
