Shared ownership advice and Mortgages

Its not just shared ownership i do mortgages for. Another first time buyer helped into there first home. This was kind of a special one! Step son and his now fiancée helped to buy there home to start there life together! And an added bonus, one less offspring in the house! 🤣

Thought I would do a little comparison between buying on the open market verses Shared ownership verses renting. Comparing minimum income needed and minimum deposit required and overall monthly costs. I have compared a 3 bedroom house currently on the market at £275,000 and used minimum household income and minimum deposit for a family with one child borrowing over a 35 year term. See the pictures below. (Sorry about the rental picture its the only 3 bed currently available in the same area, Plympton, to make a comparison)
