When you’re on your way on holiday but you’re passing GTA Accounting … obviously you have to pop in and see your mate 😂❤️

We might have created Bean Counter to Boss to give accountants and bookkeepers a place to feel supported, share ideas, ask questions and generally have people around them who get what running a practice is actually like…

…but we definitely get just as much out of it ourselves.

There’s something very lovely about building something with one of your mates, cheering each other on and still finding an excuse for a catch-up whenever you’re passing 😂

What happens when you put ambitious accountants and bookkeepers in one room for two days?

Some brilliant conversations.

Some challenging questions.

A few moments that made people completely rethink the way they run their firms.

Over the last couple of days, we stepped away from the day-to-day to focus on something that often gets pushed to the bottom of the list... working on our businesses instead of in them.

We talked about pricing, profit, capacity, AI, systems, leadership and what success really looks like. We shared ideas, challenged each other, celebrated wins and left with fresh perspectives to take back into our firms.

The biggest takeaway?

Running an accountancy practice isn’t something you have to figure out alone.

That’s what Bean Counter to Boss is all about.

A community of accountants and bookkeepers who believe that sharing knowledge, supporting one another and having honest conversations helps everyone build better businesses.

Today we are meeting with OG members of Bean Counter to Boss at our retreat in Wyboston Lakes Resort ! Two days of sharing, caring, learning, laughing and generally all round love for the accounting and bookkeeping industry. Watch this space as we hope to do more in the future… 😆
