🟪 Crook and Herbert Accountants Limited is looking for a new accounts assistant to join our team working across Ossett and Barnsley.

🟪 You will have started or completed AAT or equivalent and be skilled in Sage software, bookkeeping, accounts preparation, VAT returns and payrolls.

🟪 The hours for this role are negotiable and we offer fully flexible working (after probation).

🟪 Salary to be discussed depending on experience.

📣 You will need to be able to commute to both offices in Ossett and Barnsley.

Last Thursday we had the privilege of attending the Sage advisory board meeting alongside fellow accountants and bookkeepers, with special guests James Murray Exchequer Secretary to HM Treasury & colleagues from HMRC.

The day consisted of discussions around how MTD for Income Tax and e-invoicing can simplify tax compliance and help support SMB’s grow.

Crook and Herbert Accountants Limited are committed to helping our clients prepare for MTD for Income Tax over the next few months to ensure a smooth transition.
