🚛 Update for Individuals and Haulage Companies Purchasing Diesel in Ireland
There have been important changes announced that could significantly reduce fuel costs:
✔️ Immediate Relief at the Pump
- A total reduction of 22 cents per litre (20c excise duty cut + 2c NORA levy waived)
- Excise duty cut effective from 25 March until 31 May and NORA levy to be paused from April to May
✔️ Enhanced Diesel Rebate Scheme
- Rebate increased from 7.5c to 12c per litre until 30 June for eligible haulage operators
- This means an additional 4.5c per litre
- The increased rebate is backdated to January 2026
With ongoing cost pressures in the haulage sector, keeping up to date with changes like this is more important than ever.
