Is your business quietly leaking value?
Most businesses have at least one blind spot in the numbers, owner dependence, management strength, adaptability, or governance. It's hard to see clearly from the inside.
That's what our Value Acceleration Breakfast is for: 90 minutes to benchmark your business, spot the real gaps, and leave with a clear sense of what to prioritise next.
📅 10 September 2026, 8am – 9.30am (registration from 7.45am)
📍 Norwich Business School (University of East Anglia (UEA) Norwich.
It's also an introduction to our Three-Year Value Acceleration Programme in November, for those who want to go deeper,no obligation either way.
Who this is for:
🔸Business owners who want clarity on what’s holding the business back
🔸Senior managers who want greater influence and strategic capability
🔸Leaders preparing for succession, future investment or organisational change
🔸Professional intermediaries, lawyers, accountants and business advisers, who work with clients facing these challenges and wish to introduce the session as a useful resource

In just over 3 weeks... we'll be running the Value Acceleration Breakfast at Norwich Business School (University of East Anglia (UEA).
It is a 90-minute working session. You'll be introduced to the five-pillar framework:
🔸quality of earnings
🔸owner dependence/independance
🔸management strength
🔸innovation culture
🔸governance
You'll see the benchmarking exercise firsthand, and can complete it against a business you know well: your own, or one you advise.
You'll discuss what emerges with the group and with us, drawing out where the real gaps tend to sit for business owners.
You'll leave with a clear, practical view of the framework in action, useful whether you're weighing it up for yourself, or judging whether it's worth introducing to clients facing questions around growth, succession or exit.

Today marked the official launch of this year’s Norfolk & Norwich Festival.
Hosted in the newly reopened and beautifully refurbished "The Halls"
We can now look forward to 17 days of creativity, performance and celebration. Daniel Brine opened the event with a warm welcome and an exciting look at what’s ahead, followed by Richard Ross, Chair of the Festival, who thanked everyone who plays a part in bringing this much‑loved May calendar of events to life.
Special recognition went to the new supporters joining the Festival family this year, Woodforde's Brewery, as the official beer sponsor, The Norse Group, for supporting the Creative Schools project, LSI Architects and Busseys.
We’re proud to continue our long‑standing support of the Creative Leaders programme, year‑round initiatives nurturing the young creatives network.
👉If you haven’t already, take a look at what's on! The Welcome Weekend has many (free) family-friendly outdoor performances, and the Spiegeltent in Chapelfield Gardens always delivers something wild, wonderful and for the grown‑ups.
Whatever you choose...choose something... and share your experiences with others. Enjoy! 🎉

Celebrating two new Citywire New Model Adviser (NMA) awards.
We’re delighted to share that we have received two honours from Citywire’s New Model Adviser magazine, recognition that means a great deal to our whole team.
🏆Top 100 Firm. Six years running.
For the sixth consecutive year, we’ve been named one of Citywire NMA’s Top 100 financial planning firms in the UK. The list highlights firms who demonstrate consistently high standards in advice, governance, client service, and professional development.
🏆Regional Winner. East of England.
We’re also proud to have been awarded the East of England Regional Award, one of only eight regional awards, for the fourth time in the last five years. Regional winners are selected from within the Top 100, making this recognition especially meaningful.
Citywire NMA describes the awards as honouring “some of the best financial planning firms around the country,” with winners chosen using metrics designed by AKG (an independent rating agency) alongside the annual Top 100 assessment. As they note, this year again saw “high‑quality entrants, flying the flag for top financial planning firms.”
🌟What this means for our clients...
Awards aren’t the goal. But they are a welcome reminder that the way we work, thoughtfully, collaboratively, and with a long‑term view, continues to stand out in our profession. Most importantly, they reflect the trust our clients place in us and the commitment our team brings to that responsibility every day.
Thank you from the Chadwicks Team to all our clients, partners, and colleagues for your continued support.

Time to start planning... The 2026 Norfolk & Norwich Festival programme has landed this week.
With over two weeks of entertainment to dive into this May, now is the perfect moment to feast your eyes on what’s in store.
Across the full programme, you’ll find an exciting mix of music, performance, cabaret, dance, and literature, with events taking place in venues and communities across the county.
One standout for us is Crossing The Line, a powerful new production from St George’s Theatre Production. Touring regional venues and supported by the Festival’s Connect & Create programme, this adaptation of Tia Fisher's award‑winning novel explores the devastating impact of county lines.
A bold, timely piece of theatre, and exactly the kind of work that shows why we remain committed to supporting these initiatives and why the Festival is an important part of cultural life in the East.
Dates:
🔸Monday 11th May - St. George's Theatre, Great Yarmouth.
🔸Wednesday 13th May - Sheringham Little Theatre.
🔸Thursday 14th May - Seagull Theatre, Lowestoft.
🔸Monday 18th May - The Corn Hall Diss
