A new name. The same people. Here's the story.
From today, Heaton Vences is Runway Accountants, and we want to share the thinking behind it, not just the news.
We outgrew our name. It was built around the names of our founders, which made sense when we started. But as the firm grew and new co-founders came on board, it started to feel like a name that belonged to individuals rather than to the firm itself.
What makes us different has never been about who started the business. It's about the model, every client, direct access to a co-founder, every time. No exceptions, no matter how much we grow. That needed a name to match.
Runway fits. It's where our office sits. And in business, runway means exactly what we help founders build, the clarity and confidence to move forward on their own terms.

Most businesses finish Q1 and move on. The ones that scale? They stop and look closer. π
β‘οΈ Are your profit margins where they should be?
β‘οΈ Is your cash flow strong or just surviving?
β‘οΈ Are costs creeping up unnoticed?
β‘οΈ Do you know your upcoming tax position?
Unstructured growth is just risk with a good story.
And strong performance? That's only useful if you spot the opportunities early enough to act on them.
We work with ambitious business owners who want more than year-end compliance, proactive insight, structured planning and a strategy built to scale.
Haven't done a proper Q1 review yet? Now's the time. Contact your portfolio holder to book in!
