Finance strategy day with Louise Ball | Bookkeeper at Urmston Books and Board Games. Lots of plans made, sorting done and stories shared.

Did you know you can work from Urmston Books and Board Games and Jo can serve you hot and cold drinks and the best homemade banana bread you've ever tasted.

Also Louise and I were rooting through each other's bags on more than one occasion... not intentionally but thanks to LITSA | BUSINESS STRATEGY MENTOR !

A little message from our friends at to celebrate our Platinum Partner status! 🏆💚

300 FreeAgent clients and counting… we’re very proud of this one! 🥂

Our 300th FreeAgent client deserves a little thank you… 💚🪴

Today was a pretty exciting milestone for CBC as we officially became a FreeAgent Platinum Partner! 🏆🎉

We’ve been Gold Partners for a while, but signing up our 300th client to FreeAgent has taken us to Platinum – and that 300th client just happens to be the lovely

Even better, Caroline and Helen were both at ’s Focus Day today, so we couldn’t resist surprising Helen with a plant and some goodies to say thank you for being the client who tipped us over the line. 😂💚

Of course, Helen represents just one of the hundreds of brilliant businesses we’ve supported with FreeAgent over the years, so this milestone belongs to all of our clients too.

300 FreeAgent clients and officially PLATINUM! ✨

We’re just a little bit proud of this one. 🥂

Are you still using Wave for your accounts? It's time to switch to FreeAgent. It's better, still free, has an amazing UK based support team, really intuitive and user friendly.
Get it free with a free Mettle bank account.
Come to my next free training session in July. See my link tree in bio.
Yep it's all free. No catches.

There’s a gap in this industry that a lot of people don’t talk about.

Business owners who are doing well… but don’t feel fully in control of their finances.
If this feels familiar, you’re not the only one.

Are you in the first bunch of sole traders and landlords who need to comply with the new MTD for Income tax?

Is your accountant handling it for you or will you attempt to file yourself?

Which software are you using?

CBC have some training sessions coming up for our clients.

However if you're planning to DIY MTD, send me a DM and we'll invite you to one of our free training sessions to help you along the way.

This is brand new for everyone and I hate to think of the anxiety it's causing freelancers, sole traders, tradespeople, accidental landlords.

We'd love to hear from you!

Don't leave it until August (the first filing deadline)!

Caroline
