I’m incredibly humbled and grateful to have received the Tony Sellon Good Egg Award at The Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment The CISI Annual Financial Planning Conference.

To be recognised by your peers is always special, but this award means a great deal to me personally.

I’ve been fortunate to spend my career doing something I love, surrounded by some wonderful people in financial planning, and I’m enormously grateful to everyone who has supported, encouraged and challenged me along the way.

If you have any pensions from previous employment or that you can’t find, use the pension tracing service www.gov.uk/find-pension-contact-details.

It won’t give you the value or location of your pensions, but it will give you contact details for providers across the UK.

If you’re between 18 and 40 years old, a Lifetime ISA (LISA) gives you a free 25% bonus on savings up to £4,000 pa if used for a house deposit, but you must hold it for 12 months.

It’s a great way to save for your first home.

Alternatively, you could look to use NS&I Premium Bonds or a high-interest account.
