Last week, the EQ team took advantage of the remaining warm weather by competing in a company sports day! Participants leaped in sacks, balanced eggs, and engaged in tug of war, finishing off with a game of rounders. Well done to all the teams on their amazing colleague collaboration and congratulations to the Red team on their victory!

City Harvest‘s mission is to reduce food insecurity and protect the planet by diverting quality, nutritious, edible surplus food from waste and delivering it to hundreds of charities that feed some of our most vulnerable and deserving fellow Londoners.⁠

This week, members of the EQ team volunteered at City Harvest's Acton warehouse. We took on a variety of tasks including sorting large crates of fresh produce like potatoes or apples straight from the farm, into manageable sized containers and separating food by categories. By re-distributing in this way, City Harvest contributes to the sustainability and impact of businesses within the supply chain.⁠

Yesterday the EQ team celebrated World Health Day with delicious catering from fellow B Corp .food and an interactive workshop with nutritionist where we learnt about the essential building blocks for a healthy diet, how to make smart choices when food shopping, recipe inspiration, strategies for portion control, mindful eating and lifestyle tips to boost energy and productivity. ⁠

Team EQ Investors are doing the three peaks challenge to raise money for charities supported by the EQ Foundation next month.⁠
⁠
The challenge is split across three stages, with a total ascent of 3064 metres (9,843ft) and a distance of 26 miles (42km). Each stage is marked by the completion of a mountain, Ben Nevis at 1,345m, Scafell Pike at 978m and Snowdon at 1,085m.⁠

To complete the challenge in 24 hours, Team EQ need to complete Ben Nevis in 5½ hours, Scafell Pike in 4½ hours and Snowdon in 4 hours! ⁠
