Amazon has confirmed its 2026 UK peak fulfilment fee, and it has gone up.
From 15 October to 14 January, FBA orders to UK buyers carry an extra 12p per parcel and 7p per large envelope on top of your normal fulfilment fee - up from 10p and 5p in 2025. If you are shipping 500 parcels a week across the peak period, that works out at around £780 in extra fees on top of what you already pay.
Worth building into your Black Friday and Christmas pricing now, rather than finding out in January. Remember too that a 12p increase needs roughly an 18p price rise to recover once VAT and the referral fee take their share.

🚨Deadline alert for Pan-EU FBA sellers.
Amazon now requires an active offer on Amazon.nl for every Pan-EU product as of yesterday, 3 September - with Belgium following on 26 February 2027. Miss either deadline and the product drops out of Pan-EU FBA, which can add up to 53% to your fulfilment fees through cross-border rates.
Check your Pan-EU dashboard in Seller Central today, and before switching on any new EU storage country, check the VAT position too - storing stock in a new country generally means registering for VAT there.

This is the question that stops people from making a change they know they need to make. So let's clear it up.
Switching accountants mid-year is completely normal. There's an industry standard process called Professional Clearance that makes it smooth.
Here's how it works when you come to us:
You sign up with Ecommerce Accountants.
We contact your previous accountant and request your records.
We take over, handling any upcoming deadlines in the process.
You don't have to have a single awkward conversation.
No drama. No gap in compliance. No juggling two firms.
If you've been thinking about switching, this is your sign.
Book your free discovery call with us and we'll talk you through it. 💬

Five things I wish every new ecommerce client knew before they came to us.
One. Open a dedicated business bank account from day one. Mixing personal and business finances creates a mess that takes time and money to untangle.
Two. Keep a record of every expense from the start. Not just the big ones. Subscriptions, software, packaging, postage. It all potentially reduces your tax bill.
Three. Understand the difference between revenue and profit before you scale. Chasing revenue without understanding margin is one of the fastest routes to a cash flow problem.
Four. Think about VAT before you need it. The threshold is £90,000. But the planning starts well before that.
Five. Your business structure at £50K may not be right at £200K. Building a review of your structure into your annual accountancy is something every specialist will do automatically.
None of this is complicated. But the sellers who build on these foundations from the start grow differently from the ones who don't.
