On Sunday the 31 May, Friend Farm Animal Sanctuary is hosting an open day where all proceeds will go towards caring for their animals.

The open day begins at 1 pm and ends at 5 pm, and will include tours, opportunities to meet and feed the animals, a gift shop, refreshments and cakes, and more.

HMRC certainly aren’t making things easy for us!

-HMRC have now applied two-factor login for each individual. This is a challenge for us because access for individual clients needs to be allocated for each colleague for each client and their tax. 

-The Companies House ID checks continue to be a struggle for us.

-As many of you will know, the HMRC continue to squeeze business owners for more tax. This has put a strain on our 300+ business relationships

Have you seen these in the London Underground yet? They are found in 200 stations and 2,200 tube carriages.

A week ago, and their team launched Project Slingshot, a campaign designed to make factory farming indefensible. This is because the meat industry has been lying to all of us. Their main focus is on the inhumane practice of gassing pigs in gas chambers, and the industry claims that this is a humane way of killing pigs.

Even though calls to end this practice were recommended in 2003, this is still happening in the meat industry because they worked hard to bury this.

The government has promised to phase out gassing, but yet again, the meat industry is delaying and working hard to sweep it under the rug. We can’t let that happen!
