🎯 Advisor Insights: The Roadmap for Business & Property
I spent last Thursday morning at The Kia Oval for the Roadshow. As a Business Advisor, my focus is on staying ahead of the curve so our clients’ operations remain as smooth as possible.
It was a great morning catching up with the community and seeing the team again. We looked at the practical ways we are supporting landlords and sole traders through the upcoming changes.
The Roadmap Highlights:
• 6 April 2026: Mandatory for those with a combined gross income over £50k (based on your 24/25 tax year).
• 7 August 2026: The first reporting deadline for the new quarterly update cycle.
• April 2027: The threshold drops to £30k (based on 25/26).
• April 2028: It expands to those over £20k (based on 26/27).
The key is looking at your total combined gross income across both business and property. At Ben Accounting, we’re here to ensure the tech stays in the background so you can stay focused on your goals.
