Due to a high level of demand we have already reached our limit for the Individual CV Feedback with Dartmouth Partners. For those of you that have submitted your CVs, we will aim to provide the tailored feedback back to you from W/C 13th April 2020.

If you missed out, don’t worry! The Cass M&A and PE Society will be looking to host more events for the remainder of the academic year so be sure to keep your eyes peeled.

Although we unfortunately have had to cancel the Do’s and Don’ts of Writing CVs workshop, we are pleased to announce that Dartmouth Partners will still be offering individual CV feedback exclusively to our members. Due to Covid-19, the application process has become particularly challenging and this is a great opportunity for you to make your CV stand out.

Dartmouth’s recruitment specialists will be highlighting any mistakes they see, and providing tips on what it takes to write a great CV to land your ideal job. Feedback will be provided to the first 60 participants that submit their CVs before 13th April 2020 to [email protected]. So be sure not to miss out!

Even though our society activities have come to an abrupt end, we would like to thank you for your participation on our events. We were able to hold a number of amazing and interesting events and workshops and made great experiences.

This Thursday we were holding our event on "What you should know prior to starting in M&A" with our society's former Co-President an VP at Stout Investment Banking, Sven Garas.

We would like to thank Sven for the interesting talk and the valuable insights he provided to the attendees. The session was a great success and we aim to offer you further evening talk sessions soon.

On Wednesday, 25th March 2020 we are holding our next workshop event on "The Do’s and Don’ts of CVs" with Dartmouth Partners at Cass Business School.

In this workshop, representatives from Dartmouth will discuss the common mistakes they see, and how to write a great CV to land your ideal job. Individual CV feedback will also be provided to the first 60 participants that register for the event.

We are pleased to invite you to our exclusive insight day at Ardian on Tuesday, 10th March 2020. The event offers you the opportunity to learn more about Ardian and their different teams. Furthermore, you will be meeting up with investment professionals who will identify suitable candidates for their six-month Summer and Off-Cycle Internship Programmes in London.

We are delighted to announce our next workshop in collaboration with our partner Intralinks and Kira Systems on "Next-generation technology tools for M&A". The event is taking place on 23rd March at Cass Business School. Don't miss the opportunity to take part and save the date already now. Official invitations will be sent out soon.

Technology tools based on artificial intelligence, machine learning and cloud platforms are set to revolutionise the M&A dealmaking process. In this workshop, two leading technology firms, Intralinks and Kira Systems, will show examples of how these tools are being used today in the M&A deal lifecycle. Artificial intelligence, machine learning and cloud services tools will become a standard part of the daily workflow for everybody involved in the M&A process - investment banking, corporate development, private equity and legal. Attend this workshop to see the future of the intersection of technology and M&A.

The workshop will last from 18:00pm - 20:00pm followed by the opportunity of networking and drinks for those who wish to attend.

This Wednesday we were holding our IPO simulation event with Amplify Trading at Cass Business School.

During the simulation, students were taking the role of analysts in an Equity Capital Markets division and went through the steps of deal preparation, roadshow, book-building and final IPO of their company.

This was an invaluable experience for our members to gain practical experience in the fields of ECM and IPOs as an extension to their academic knowledge.
