Dear clients,
please note the followings as declared by UK government due to the corona virus outbreak:
*Support for self employed people as updated 26 March 2020 :*
1. For a self employed person who has submitted their tax return until 18-19: HMRC will write to you directly in June 2020 for 80% grant.
2. For a self employed person who started after 6th April 2019, the best option is to join universal tax credit.
*Support for business as updated 26 March 2020*
1. Business rates and Grants of 10K or 25K: You don’t need to do anything now. Your local council will write to you directly, if not please contact them.
2. Business interruption loan: Contact your bank if you need it
3. 80% salary for employees of the business: HMRC have not yet developed the online portal with exact details to claim it. Once HMRC has declared this at the end of April, eligible employers can apply for it.
