As Neurodiversity Celebration Week comes to a close, a reminder that supporting neurodiversity at work doesn’t have to be complex.

In fact, some of the most effective changes are small:
– clearer communication
– more flexibility
– different ways of working

Up to 1 in 5 people are neurodivergent, yet many workplaces are still designed around a single way of thinking, focusing and performing.

When organisations move away from “one-size-fits-all”, something powerful happens:
👉 people work in ways that actually suit them
👉 confidence improves
👉 performance follows

If you’re thinking about how to better support your teams, we’d love to help. Click the linkin bio ⬆️ for more on our Neurodiversity at Work training.

✨ What a day at the Women’s Business Forum ✨

There’s something powerful about being in a room full of women having real conversations about leadership, confidence and sustainability.

We were proud to support the IoD with:

💬 A Women’s Confidence session with Isabelle, exploring how women can show up clearly and credibly at work.

🧘‍♀️ An end-of-day unwind session with gentle yoga and breathwork, creating space to reset and recharge.

🎤 And our founder, Sally Lovett, joining a brilliant panel (alongside Mariella Frostrup and fellow speakers) to talk about menopause and wellbeing at work and building careers that are sustainable over decades, not just seasons.

The recurring theme of the day?

High performance should never come at the cost of health.

Grateful to have been part of the day 💛

Blue Monday is coming (19 January)... and HR teams will recognise it well:

📉 Low motivation
🌑 Reduced daylight
💬 Heavier emotional load

This year, instead of just talking about it, we’ve built something practical:

🛠️ A Blue Monday Toolkit with prompts, team rituals & mood-boosters you can use in your organisation.

It lands in inboxes the week before Blue Monday — want it?

👉 Join our newsletter list: https://mailchi.mp/stretchingthecity/nfurhw82gr

We've designed it to be used during team meetings, internal comms, or wellbeing weeks.

Let’s start the year supporting each other — one small, human tool at a time 💙

🧠✨ Productivity isn’t just about doing more.

It’s about working with your brain, not against it.

Our Positive Productivity workshop helps your team:

🧠 Understand why procrastination isn’t laziness (it’s self-protection)

🔁 Harness your natural focus rhythms (hello, 90-minute cycles)

🖊️ Swap burnout for brain-based productivity strategies that actually stick.

Let’s help your team work smarter, not just harder.

“What’s it like working with your sister?” We get asked this a lot… and the answer is: It’s great!

We balance very different skills (creative strategy vs operational detail), we’ve learned to air disagreements kindly, and yes, sometimes work calls drift into gossip! But sharing the joys (and challenges) of running Stretching the City as a family business is one of the best decisions we’ve made.

It’s not for everyone, but it works for us ❤️
