We are delighted today to be welcoming our Summer 2026 Graduate intake of trainee Chartered Accountants. 🎉

We will officially introducing our new trainees later this week, we wanted to take a moment to say how excited we are to have them joining the team.

To those joining us today, getting this far is an achievement in itself.

Our Graduate scheme opens every January and we receive thousands of applications every year. We put every successful applicant through testing, opendays, interviews and we even test their bridge building and duck floating skills! (it's not just about passing exams and knowing "stuff" here at RPGCC, we want the whole person!)

It is truly amazing the amount of talent out there and wonderful that so many young people want to train in our profession.

Welcome to the team! 🌟

🦆 The RPGCC Duck collection strikes again… 🦆 Our team has excelled themselves this week.

As "accountants who give a duck" rather than receive them, our duck population should not be growing quite this quickly... yet here we are. 😆

This week we've welcomed two new additions to the RPGCC flock:

One duck has travelled all the way from sunny Ireland.

And in what can only be described as a remarkable turn of events, one of our Scottish ducks apparently started a family while on holiday, arriving back with a baby duck in tow!

A huge thank you to Kelly and Jeremy for their contributions to our rapidly expanding collection. Your generosity is appreciated... even if facilities may have a different view.

📢 Note to the partners (from Marketing): can we please have a larger cupboard? The current duck accommodation is nearing capacity, and we cannot guarantee the flock won't continue to multiply.

At this rate, we'll soon have more ducks than spreadsheets.

The team done it again, they read the memo and took it too far!

What we asked for...
"Take a duck on your travels, take a photo, send it back!"

What we got...
"Take a duck on your travels, take a photo, go looking for real ducks, take a photo, then go to the shops and look for more ducks and send that photo back too"

You have to love our team, always going that one step beyond what was necessary (I guess it proves we really do what we say we do!) ♥

With the v game on Saturday night fast approaching the ducks have decided they want in on the action.

They are not waiting till Saturday, they are playing today.
England are playing in Blue, Norway in white.

Kick-off is 1.30pm today, will the outcome of our game today shape the score on Saturday night?

When the firm's team are working hard to keep the team cool, making plans to help people travel (or not) safely and sending coms to keep everyone safe, the marketing people have one job keep the cool! 😂

🦆 We may need to clarify the brief…

Once again, our team seems to have slightly misread the memo…

We are accountants that give a duck 🦆 — not receive a duck!

And yet, the ducks keep arriving.

Our latest contributions have flown in from far across the globe — San Diego and Vancouver 🌎 — proving that word is clearly spreading (just not quite the right message).

At this rate, we’re going to start getting in a real flap… we’re fast running out of space 🫣 The real concern? One day someone might actually send us a real duck.

And then we really will start flapping.
