Yesterday marked International Women’s Day and this year’s theme, ‘Give To Gain’, encourages us to think about generosity in all its forms - sharing time, support and opportunities so more people can thrive.

Giving isn’t limited to donations. It can be offering visibility, sharing knowledge, opening doors or simply showing encouragement and respect.

Wherever we start, embracing ‘Give To Gain’ helps build a fairer future for everyone. Happy IWD!

Last night, we took over The Alice for our annual Buzzacott Quiz Night, and what a fantastic turnout, with 29 teams battling it out for the top spot! A huge thank you to our amazing Social Committee for putting together such a brilliant and highly-anticipated event.

Congratulations to our team winners: Florence Klein, Anna-Kerensa Pratt, Katie Johnston, Daryan Devereaux, Megan Reynolds, and Cameron Dale! 🏆

And of course, thanks to all team members who attended, we hope to see you all next year!

As National Apprenticeship Week draws to a close, we’re taking a moment to reflect on a fantastic week of celebrations recognising the contributions of our 188 trainees.

We treated the whole firm to doughnuts, held our first Student Forum of 2026, and enjoyed fresh juices and treats which kept everyone energised at our trainee exclusive event. A big thank you to everyone who joined in – it’s always a pleasure to shine a spotlight on the incredible talent within our firm.

It’s National Apprenticeship Week 2026!

National Apprenticeship Week 2026 is here, and we’re starting the celebrations with a sweet treat for everyone 🍩

We’re delighted to be ranked 30th in the Sunday Times Top 100 Apprenticeship Employers and to celebrate Lauren Healy, our Learning & Development Assistant Manager, for winning Training Manager/ Mentor of Year at the PQ Magazine Awards 2025 – a reflection of our commitment to developing future talent. With more than 188 apprentices and trainees enrolled across 10 training programmes, we remain focused on building rewarding careers and equipping our people with the skills they need for the future.

As we wrap up the year, December has been a busy and rewarding month for our team.
From taking part in Christmas Jumper Day and the Santa in the City run, to giving back through winter coats for Wrap Up London, and our annual collection for The Bow Foodbank Ltd, it’s been great to come together as a firm in support of charities doing important work over Christmas.

We’ve also chosen to once again donate to Shelter from the Storm instead of sending Christmas cards, helping to support those most in need during colder months.

Last week’s “Fit for the Future” conference gave us a valuable opportunity to come together as a firm and recognise the progress we’ve made over the past year.

We spent time looking ahead – considering what our brand refresh means for the next phase of our journey, and exploring themes around culture, performance, and the impact we’re making in our communities. We also celebrated our team members who bring our behaviours to life every day.

Alongside the core sessions, we were inspired by a fantastic keynote from Clare Balding who spoke about resilience, trust, and making the most of life.

The energy in the room throughout the day was brilliant – full of openness and a real sense of collective momentum. We walked away feeling proud of what we’ve achieved and motivated for what’s next! 💚
