Tesla stock price gained 60% in 5 months from May 19 when it was 546 USD to October 19 when it’s price reached 877 USD.

- the company achieved a record revenue and profits in Q2/2021
- it sold 201,300 new vehicles
- this result is 122% higher than Q2/2020
- revenue is above 12 billion USD
- profit is above the 1 billion USD mark (the first time)
- Q3/2021 was even better
- 241,300 vehicles were sold
- revenue increased to 13.8 billion USD
- profit reached 1.86 billion USD

🚘 Tesla's vehicle deliveries rose 73.2% YOY, which was the driver of the company's revenue growth for the quarter. Tesla was able to continue expanding production in order to grow revenue and profits. Their factories have been running at top speed even though affected by a number of supply-chain challenges, including semiconductor shortages, port congestions and rolling blackouts.

👉 Tesla expects to achieve 50% average annual growth in vehicle deliveries over a multi-year horizon. Through the first half of 2021, Tesla was the global leader in the market for plug-in electric vehicles with a market share of nearly 14.6%.
Volkswagen was second with a market share of 12.5% and General Motors Company (GM) was third with a market share of nearly 8.6%.

📈 Tesla is not only a car company. It is also an artificial intelligence, robotics and efficient energy storage technology company, respectively. More importantly Tesla solves many of the challenges we face in the future.
